Cosphaderm® Absolute is a mixture of three proven moisturising active ingredients in very well-balanced concentrations.
With the natural moisturising factors sodium lactate and betaine, it supplies two of the skin's own substances which ensure that the moisture content in the skin is maintained.
In addition to its solubilising function, propanediol promotes the moisturising effect of the blend.
The strong hygroscopicity of the three substances in the recommended application concentration reduces water activity and thus the availability of water for microorganisms. This in turn means that this blend has a harmless antimicrobial effect with skin barrier-promoting properties and thus offers the possibility of an innovative, alternative preservation strategy.
This meets the needs of the market and current trends in the cosmetics industry.

The COSMOS- and NATRUE-compliant blend enables a wide range of applications in skin and hair care thanks to its pH independence and skin barrier-promoting properties.

Processing:

Its high electrolyte content can influence the viscosity when working with electrolyte-sensitive thickeners. No problems are expected in combination with Cosphaderm® X34, but it is important to observe the correct order of addition.
To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to incorporate Cosphaderm® X34 before adding Cosphaderm® Absolute.
